Choose the RVH8301 if rounded inside corners are a priority in your cleaning routine. Choose the RVH8300 if you prefer the sharper interior look and its current package makes better value for you. These are closely related 32-inch workstation sinks. The useful distinction is the corner geometry, not a claim that one gives you a much larger washing area.
Both require an installation check. Similar exterior dimensions and some shared accessories do not establish that the two cutout templates are interchangeable.

What is actually different?
Ruvati describes the RVH8300 with sharp inside corners and the RVH8301 with rounded inside corners. A rounded transition gives a cloth a gentler route around the corner; a tight corner can call for more deliberate attention with an appropriate soft cleaning tool. That is a practical inference from shape, not a timed cleaning result.
Do not extend this into a promise of faster drainage or immunity to stains. Water spots, debris beneath a grid and the way you rinse the bowl still matter with either shape. Neither model removes the need to lift removable parts for cleaning.
What stays similar?
- Both are undermount, single-bowl, 16-gauge T-304 stainless steel workstation sinks.
- Both specification sheets list a 32 × 19-inch exterior, a 10-inch bowl depth and a 36-inch minimum base cabinet.
- Both sheets show a nominal 30⅜ × 16-inch bowl and a rear-center drain.
- Both have a ledge for the supplied preparation and drying accessories.
Dimension discrepancy: the current product-page or retail wording also uses 30½ inches for the bowl width. The linked models are identifiable, but these rounded dimensions should not decide a cutout or a tight accessory fit. We use the specification-sheet figure here and would have the fabricator check the delivered sink and current model-specific template.

Compare the complete package
The reviewed specification sheets list the same cutting board, colander, foldable rack, bottom grid, strainer and drain cover part numbers for these two models. Ruvati separately lists bottom grid RVA68300 as compatible with both. Check the actual retail package before ordering; shared parts on a specification sheet are not a promise about a used or incomplete offer.
For a fair comparison, write down three things next to each current offer: the model number, included accessories and delivery cost. Then decide whether the corner shape is worth any price difference you actually see. We do not fix a price gap in this article because retail offers change.
Shared accessories also do not make every third-party board or grid suitable. A board must sit securely on the intended ledge, and a bottom grid must clear the bowl walls and drain. Use our sink-grid measurement guide before buying a substitute.
Three buying scenarios
You clean the sink quickly after every meal
Shortlist the RVH8301 if reaching into tight inside corners is something you already dislike. The benefit is the more approachable shape. Decide whether that daily convenience justifies the current offer, rather than assuming rounded corners change the steel or remove routine maintenance.
You want the sharper workstation appearance
The RVH8300 remains a reasonable option if the interior lines appeal to you and you are willing to clean the corners carefully. Its matching nominal size means you do not have to frame the choice as sacrificing bowl length just to get that look.
You are replacing an existing sink
Pause before selecting either based on “32 inches.” Bring the current opening, cabinet measurements and exact replacement model to the installer. Check rim support, corner geometry, faucet clearance and the way the ledge sits below the counter. A counter overhang that seems tidy can interfere with accessory movement; our sink-reveal guide explains that check.
A useful pre-order checklist
- Read RVH8300 or RVH8301 on the selected offer, not just the family name or hero photo.
- Confirm the documented 36-inch minimum cabinet with your installer and actual supports.
- Compare the current accessory list with the manufacturer sheet. Verify any replacement part by its model-specific compatibility.
- Choose the corner shape you will want to clean, then compare the total delivered offer.
- Approve fabrication only with the current template and actual sink available.
If you are still deciding between brands, our KRAUS Kore versus RVH8300 comparison covers that broader decision. Here, the RVH8300–RVH8301 choice is mainly about how the bowl corners suit you, with model-specific installation checks still required.
